Nicholas Wilson joined Rockinghorse Studios in 2009 after completing his studies at SEA Byron Bay, and during his time he has worked with renowned producers Steve James (Weaponhead, Skunkhour, The Screaming Jets) and Alan Moulder (Smashing Pumpkins, Nine Inch Nails, The Killers).
In 2011, Nicholas embarked on a European and Australian tour with Seasick Steve as front of house engineer where he worked closely together with Steve, Dan Magnusson and John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin). He was awarded a UK gold record for his work on this promotional tour for Seasick Steve’s album ‘You Can’t Teach an Old Dog New Tricks’.
In the following year, Nicholas Toured Europe and Australia as front of house engineer of Wolfmother.
While working at Rockinghorse Studios Nicholas has worked with Andrew Stockdale (Wolfmother), The Occupants,Sticky Fingers, Art vs Science, The Cracks, Todd, Carmona, Rain Dogs, Wolfmother, Seasick Steve, Jon Stevens (Noiseworks), The Coastal Soul, Michelle Hendrik, Hamish Gordon, Autumn Sun, Supercharger, Deline Briscoe, Navel, Zatokrev & Corwen
