Studio A, is a versatile space, ideal for a comprehensive range of recording, mixing, overdubbing and backing track work.
The Rocking Horse recording studio complex offers an unparalleled degree of sophistication and comfort.
The control room's epicenter is the classic Neve V60 custom recording console, renowned for its incredible EQ, powerful silky performance and now enhanced with the Pro Tools 192 HD recording system.
As an alternative to digital recording, Studio A offers the Studer A820 24 track tape machine to provide the warmth of anologue recording.
Teamed with tight, extended bass monitoring and 5 strategically placed outboard racks, Studio A offers outstanding sound quality as well as easy tracking and mixing.
The entire Studio is beautifully appointed and finished with exotic local rain forest timbers, which have been carefully oiled to achieve natural reflective surfaces. By opening and closing the studio's full length glazed doors, variable acoustics can be achieved throughout.
All studio areas have excellent visibility (both between performance spaces and to the control room), and a pleasant ambience combining natural light and tasteful spotlighting.
